Girls Varsity Bowling make bracket matchplay at the Rocket Baker Blast Off Tournament

WESTLAND, Mich - Milan Girls Varsity kicked off their tournament season at John Glenn's Rocket Baker Blast Off at Town N Country Lanes in Westland on December 6th. The Lady Big Reds qualified sixth in a field of 14 teams for the eight bracket matchplay round, only to fall to Westland lMemorial who took their run to become the tournament runner-up. Congratulations to the tournament champions Livonia Churchill. In the qualifying round of 16 Baker games, Milan rolled a series total of 2370 to give them a 148 average for the day, with their best team effort being a 214. In the first round of brackets (best 2 of 3), the Lady Big Reds gave it their all but lost in two close games.
